What is Heights?
Heights is a personalized fitness app designed to help users achieve new levels of health and performance.
It offers tailored guidance that fits seamlessly into your life, optimizing your habits based on your goals, preferences, and even hormonal cycles.
Why use Heights over other apps?
Most fitness apps provide generic tips and workout plans, promise you quick results, expect you to overhaul your life, and give you lots of data to digest.
Heights takes a different approach; we let you define whatever goal you want and give you clear, actionable guidance based on that goal and your existing habits. Our comprehensive approach to fitness allows you to consolidate multiple apps you use today into one.
When you're stuck, we diagnose what's wrong and show you what to change. Heights is designed specifically to push you to new levels of achievement.
Who is Heights for?
Heights is for anyone actively on their fitness journey—whether you're just starting out, working to achieve a new personal best, or struggling to overcome a plateau. Our platform adapts to your fitness level, goals, and lifestyle to provide guidance that helps you keep progressing.
What if I don’t have a goal? Why do I need one?
That’s completely fine! In our experience, many people who don’t think they have a goal actually have something in mind—they just may not know how to articulate it or what exactly to solve for.
Heights helps you uncover and define your goals by using benchmarks and archetypes that match your fitness level, lifestyle, and preferences. By defining your goal and how you like to workout, we’re able to tailor our nutrition and activity guidance more clearly. Whether it’s hitting a new squat PR, achieving a particular body type, hitting a new Peloton output, or just feeling lighter, we’ll find a goal that's right for you.
Can I really set any goal?
We built Heights to be a flexible platform that reflects the diversity of fitness approaches and goals. To support that, users are able to define goals across a wide range of outcomes, from body types (e.g., I want to look trim and athletic) to performance levels (I want to run a 20 minute 5-k) to general feelings (e.g., feel lighter).
Currently, we support goal across running, strength training, cycling, weight loss, and body type.
Do I work with a trainer?
Heights does not pair you directly with a personal trainer, but it does offer personalized, trainer-like guidance tailored specifically to your needs and goals, so you get the support you need without the cost or scheduling hassle of working with a personal trainer.
It's also a great tool to show your trainer, to help them understand your habits.
Do you offer workout content?
Heights doesn’t create full workout programs, but it’s designed to work seamlessly with many popular content providers and fitness trackers, such as Peloton, Strava, etc.
We know that everyone has their own content that they like, so we lean into that, but we don't provide our own content. In the future, we'll provide customized feedback based on popular training philosophies.
How do you think about women's needs differently than mens?
Heights recognizes that women’s fitness needs are different than men's, especially when considering hormonal cycles, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery.
We’ve designed our platform to account for these factors, offering guidance that adjusts with each phase of your cycle and life stages. You'll understand how your menstrual cycle impacts nutritional needs and performance, how nutritional needs change during and after your pregnancy, and even be able to track lactation postpartum.
Is this all AI-based? Can I trust it?
While Heights does use advanced data models and AI to personalize your fitness journey, it’s not just an AI-driven app.
Heights combines real-world insights and principles from fitness experts, nutritionists, and behavioral scientists with an AI experience. This blend ensures that advice you receive is grounded in both data and human expertise, giving you a platform you can trust.
Do you integrate with food trackers?
Heights doesn't currently integrate with other nutrition trackers. We've overhauled the nutrition tracking process to remove many of the painpoints that current apps provide and know you'll never look back.
What kind of guidance does Heights provide?
Heights offers guidance across activity / recovery, performance, and nutrition. This includes things like workout changes (e.g., pace recommendations, exercises to add), nutrition swaps (tweaks to make to better support our goals), adjustments to respond to hormone changes, plateau diagnoses (to help you break plateaus), and expectation setting (showing you what you can achieve and how long it takes). Unlike other apps that just give you data to interpret, Heights turns that data into actionable advice that fits into your everyday life.
When will Heights be available?
